On September 8, 2011 the USS New York
arrived in New York for the tenth anniversary of 9/11. Our crew transported the Flag eight miles out to sea to meet the ship
and prepare the rigging for the 8:00 AM unfurling at Ground Zero. We were escorted by the US Coast Guard and NYPD. When the ship paused at
Ground Zero, it's entire crew along with members of the FDNY and the NYPD rendered honors.

10:00 AM - Pier 88 - NY Harbor
